Problem with screen

What did you do to the phone?
Is it fully charged?
Are the contacts on the battery clean?

All i did to the phone was turn it of to change the game card and i then tried to turn phone back on and now i am geting the sim thing hapening the phone is fully charged and i have cleaned it sevral times and nothing seems to be hapining. has any one got a idea?

you changed from game card to normal mmc or the other way round? Does it do the same thing with all mmcs? Have you tried without mmc?

Then unfortunately the only solution is nokia center. I don't know what happened and would else could be the cause of your n-gages bizare behaviour. Hope you get everything sorted

Has your phone worked before or is it a new purchase?

The reason I ask is because if you upgraded from an oldish phone to an N-Gage and you are using the same SIM card, you may need to contact your phone supplier (Orange, O2 etc) to see if you need a new SIM card. A mate of mine had the same problem.

The only other thing I can think of is that the SIM is blocked after too many incorrect attempts of the PIN code. If this was the case though, you'd be told when the phone is switched on that it is blocked and to contact your service provider.

When i switch my phone on the nokia screen comes up, followed by the screen which asks me to put in my pin code. Before i can put in my code the screen disappears and after a few seconds replaced by the nokia screen again and then the pin code screen. This keeps on repeating.
