wowowowowowowow what an amazing phone

i had a couple of quick questions:

1.can anyone confirm that it has blutooth or infrared?

2.what is exactly 3g? imean what does it do?

3.is video calling possiblee?

4.what symbian version is it?

5.will it be available in the us?

im loving it😃

I don't know much about the phone but in answer to question 2: 3G refers to the third generation network which falls (if I can remember) somewhere between 2100 Mhz and 2400Mhz. The higher frequency allows faster data transfer so is better for real time video, etc (possibly the answer to question 3).

From memory (so no slating 😉 ) in Britain we have GSM 800 Mhz and GSM 1800 Mhz (1st and 2nd generation), in the States it is PCS 1900 Mhz. I don't know what plans there are for the US to have 3G, they'll probably call it something different anyway 😉

i know its out in japan and i think i remember reading it was already out in the us. If this is the one i am thinking of it has bluetooth and ir, and has wicked games on it-final fantasy (new version) to name one. Namco are also publishing for it.However i am not sure if am thinking aout the right one.

It is a Fujitsu made Symbian OS 6.1 phone that only works on NTT DoCoMo's FOMA/i-mode (WCDMA based 3G network) in Japan.

The user interface is similar to all the other (also including non-Symbian) FOMA phones.

You can only develop/put i-mode Java applets or i-appli programs on it. No native Symbian programs. No J2ME/MIDP Java programs either.

The phone will not work outside Japan.

Ive just looked at this phone and its amazing!! Why can't it work outside Japan? Here in Britain we have a 3g network, please tell me it will work here!!

Well,in short there are several 3G network standards, like CDMA200,WCDMA,UMTS and a few more. You can read more about 3G here.I might be wrong but i believe that 3 UK and DoCoMo Japan don't use the same 3G network standard/type.

Ahhh man thats dissapointing!! Im still gona find out if it works here, cause if it does Im buying one straight away! Im I right to think that there arn't any CCD megapixel phones out yet in Britain?

As I said, it will only work in Japan. If you want to use it as a phone, you have to move there.
