Memory card compatibility

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this topic...

I'm just wondering what makes/types of memory card are compatible with the 9210?

I have an MP3 player http://www.mp3players.co.uk/mp3_main.php?strPageName=mp3_player_dmg which has a slot for a 128Mb Smart Media Card like http://www.mp3players.co.uk/mp3_main.php?strPageName=accessory_128mb_smc

Would this be compatible with the 9210's memory slot? Anybody know any good sites for buying smart media cards? is there a standard for this kind of thing (which would obviously mean it is compatible)

Thanx for your help.

Smart Media is completely different to MMC, to start with it's twice the size, the only real similarities are solid state and how thin they are. Any make of MMC will work with it though.

Oh shame. Wish companies would get together and come up with some standards!!

Cheers for clearing that up.

Well they do :P With 8 of them if ya like 😃

Microdrive
Compact flash
MMC
SD
SmartMedia
Memory Stick
Memory Stick Duo
MediaStik (discontinued)

O yeah and I forgot Psions SSD. And Ata flash (PCcard flash disk)

Plenty of standards as u like it 😉

I'm guessing he meant some standards as in 2 or 3, rather that 8-12 that exist for mobile devices at the moment.
