In order to make your mobile ring louder make sure you have
the viabrate switched ON..(unless there is a patch for this, i am actually surprised there still is not one considering the phone has been out for a while,?)
Also you can amend the midi file and change the volume of the actual midi file itself in a midi program before uploading it to your mobile..
Am facing a similar problem with my 3660 that the phone smetime rings at perfect volume and soemtime it rings at a low / faint volume!! 😡
I would also switch on the vibrator from now to see if there is some change in same! But surely there has to be some way out other than this as Vibrator ON at all times is not convenient!! 😞
I consulted a Nokia Care shop locally here, the guy was in mood to rip me off he said you should reload your software and MAYBE (note the maybe) the problem would go away!! For this he was demanding 20USD from me for same but without guarantee that problem would be solved! 😱
