I just brought 6600. Amazing phone.! I installed a lot of applications. I think some application might've screwed up the phone.
If I get a missed call or a message the information is not showing up in the main screen. But if I press menu, I can see the missed call symbol (U with arrow) on the top right corner of the screen. Any one has come across this issue.

ya well if u dont have the keypad locked accidently u might have pressed the red button so the main screen goes back to normal and u only see missed calls in the menu
No. I tested this by dialing my number from another phone. Even then it is not showing up. I've n't kept my keypads locked.
Any help?

Resolved finally. Some themes screwed up the thing.
I removed the MMC where all the themes stored except the default. It worked.
I have the same problem. I have not installed any themes and removed quite a bit of softwares. The problem still persists.
More is that when I exit menu, earlier the missed call and unread message notification would pop up. Now it odes not happen.
Could anyone shed any light.

I haved the same problem. First i had installed few themes and some aplications. I reset the phone (green botton +3 botton+ * button) remove all thems and aplications less one of them (SeleQ). The phone worked 2 days and the same problem aquirred again. I removed the remained aplication , i moved the messages on phone memory, i reset the phone (original phone settings from phone menu) and now seems to work 😃.
