animated gifs not very animated

Anyone know how to keep animated gifs animated past the first cycle. It's ridiculous that the only cycle through the animation once.

If not, could someone write something to keep them animated?

I dont think it's possible... its allso written in the Manual that animated Gifs only will cycle once... This is as stupid as their non working MMS where you have to skip to the next picture... :x
I hope this can be fixed by the next firmware update..

BTW: I tried to put a animated gif as a startup image, instead of the shaking hands... this animation would'nt even run... the same animation works fine if i start it later thow...

I'm sure I posted this somewhere before, but I think the animation at the start is a multi-frame .MBM file. I argue this because backgrounds and into pics are converted to .MBM as can be found in c:\system\data.

Now, who deleted my post!!!
