hey! i've heard that it's possible to use the n-gage as a tv remote control via bluetooth! is that true or not? and if it is! where can one get it????

hope you have the answer to my question!!!

Lemming

im sorry to say this but this is the stupidest question ive ever heard

even it there was such a program how many tvs do u know have blutooth😡 😕 😱

Directly I dont think so. Indirectly via a bluetooth to infra converter possibly. Not that i have ever heard of any of those existing and would be pretty expensive. So n-gage as tv controller i dont think so as a pc controler thats fine aslong as pc has bluetooth.

You might be thinking of the program available for the 6600. It is a class little program that really works well for most IR equipment.

The distinct lack of an IR port on the N-Gage makes it somewhat more tricky to use.

You are talking about Total irRemote Control from PsiLoc and it has been available long before the 6600,i've used it on my 7650 long time ago but like you said the N-Gage lacks IR.BTW:I can't find any great use for it because of the low range of the IR on Nokia Series 60 devices.

I don't think its stupid, there are quite a few devices that use Bluetooth for remote control, they are not so widespread yet.

Haha! TV Remote Control! Now that would be cool! Just another step towards the ultimate phone :P
