Can't install FExplorer

9 replies · 3,940 views · Started 09 February 2004

I've placed the sis file on to my mmc card but i can't find in manager to install the application. Also i can't link my nokia to pc suite but it registers as being connected to my pc.

You connected to n-gage via usb or bluetooth?
Where exactly is fexplorer placed on your mmc(which folder)?
In order to find the file it must be at teh root of the drive. Also give your n-gage some time before you try to install something. Also try turning n-gage off and then on again. Hope it helps!

Yeah i do that but when i open nokia pc suite it says there's no phone connected to my pc bu if i go into my computer the n gage is attached i can send stuff across. I've done the connection settings as well.

I placed it in the apps folder
Could you give the path name for the root folder please.

"E:\" for the memory card (MMC). "C:\" for the internal phone memory.

If you put the .sis file in "E:\", then "Manager" can be used to install it.

Or you can put it in "C:\Nokia\Installs" as well, but when you launch it from "E:\" it will be copied to there anyway, and then the actual installation is launched.

Are you using USB or Bluetooth,PC Suite works with Bluetooth only,no USB.

I'm using USB. What kind of design is that, that you can only connect via bluetooth talk about cornering the market.
