I thought it was just my phone but after reading this thread I see it's not just me.
In my case some themes caused my DATE SETTING to increase the date in 3 days everytime I set the alarm.Very anoying!! 😞 let me show an example:
1-My date setting gets screwed on 3/02/04, so my phone sets the date to 3(+3)/02/04 and then someone calls me and I don't pick the phone up, say it's 3:00PM
2-I see the mess and I set the date to 3/02/04 again.
3-Well,3 day later 6/02/04 at 3:00PM I misteriously get missed call message in my phone 😊
Anyone else? I don't heve this problem since I uninstall some AEfox themes....

i don't have any problem like that anyway... with or without themes...
may be it's another thing...

I had that problem too,but didnt know what it was until i cured it by removeing Fexplorer and switching to SeleQ (for better screen shot quality not this prob) and it hasnt done it since!!!!!!!!!

I believe the themes do have something to do with it. Especially the AE Fox black theme. Its got some kind of bug in it. I had to reformat my memory card coz of that theme. I dont mean to diss AE Fox or anything but there is sum big problem in that theme. Just uninstalling it did not do the job. My messages would not delete, didnt get any alerts for voicemail or missed calls and i'd get error messages when phone used to start up.

AE FOX ... 1 Q... Did u do your first theme the crude way..meaning...working it with the mbm file & then compiling to .sis format or using the theme editor (italian author) way.. if yes...then yes some themes will do have a problem..becoz... they will all share the / almost the same symbian installer id (like 0xFE......) thats all..
Its got nothing to do with themes. its the ID it got generated & that it conflicts with other s/w installed in the phone.
This warning is quite said in the Symbian Developer series documents & does explain on the www.symbian.com that its better; that if you are a developer; you could request for a range of these id's.

So really whats the final analysis of these problems? IS Aefox Themes safe? what can we do to stop these problems? or how can we avoid it?
Im worried too, im not sure if ive suffered those kinds of probs.. but as of now, i havent... but i dont want to wait for those probs..😃

Yes AEFOX & other themes are all safe...
Its just the s/w glitches... you could install them...without hassales...probably 2 out 100 will face this problem depending on the s/w's on their phones..

I have downloaded all AEFOx themes, they are really great!!! And so far no issues. The only thing I did is that I saved them into the MMR instead of the phone memory. I don't know if it has some effect???

The problem came with the REGISTRATION KEY CODE..
some themes BY COINCIDENCE may be match that code
with some other app or theme.. so when this 2 codes
are found.. some of them are deleted...
but it's just like a win a lottery ...
a very low probability to that happend
