i'm looking for a simple bluetooth service application for my 6600 which will provide me with some basic functions like searching for other devices in the area.
It seems a bit long winded having to select a file and then attempting a send just to discover local devices. isn't there some sort of application that can act as a short cut and perform a search?
Use the BT settings app. Move right, select Options, 'New paired device' this will start a search and show you any BT devices in the area.

Is there a small application that can do this? I don't know much about symbian development but I assume it is only accessing a small number of commands and would be very easy to produce.
