Swapping memory card - Moving apps etc.

My 6600 is only 2 weeks old, it came with all the standard stuff on the phone and Opera, some trial apps and FExplorer (i installed) on the memory card. I want to put a bigger mmc in it and was thinking the best way to do this would be to backup the stuff I want to keep (pics etc.) via nokia suite, stick in the new formatted card then reinstall opera/FExplorer etc. on the main phone memory. This should work ok.. right? 😞 😛
