IV bought a new 256mb MMC Card from Mobilefun.com. I also got a MMC reader so i can send data over and i downloaded quiet a LOT of programs, games etc etc for it.
I sent over all the files and put them all in folders to keep them nice N tidy :P (ie. GBC Games for GoBoy go in 'MMC:Games/GBC/GAMES'😉
When i try to install certain programs i either get a :
'Cannot complete write to disk' <--- MOSTLY !
OR
'Courrupt File'

Its sending me ma thinking that my MMC is prob now broke cos i have put a dogey program on it or somthing... someone hidden a virus in a file ?!?!?. :'(.
Please someone help me with the problem.

Mobiclip and
PhotoSMS.
Examples of non-working programs :
GoBoy (V. with sound),
Most (if not all but 1) N-Gage games (Sorry again)
Most java games wont go on (20 at least)
MyGirls,
Mp3Go,
Lots of themes from honest sites such as a member from here.

try formatting the card in the phone - then it'll ask you to name it - then maybe reboot the phone

Okay iv bin on alot of other forums having a look around and i spot someone who gets a error with there MMC, the only reply is stating 'If its a Kingsmax God Help Us ALL !'

Now im VERY worried because that is the card i have, it was kinda cheap but i trust mobilefun.com... Please dont say iv bought a fucked up card. PLEASE !!!!!. I will try what you have asked
Ok i am SEVERILY !!! gutted now, i have been everywhere and reading.. the kingmax cards BLOW !. They jus dont work at all when it comes to installing any apps... and i cant send it back because i dont have the box. Wot a soddin waste of money. :'(

unlucky, i was just about to buy the same thing off there. However u do have certain rights. If u are from the uk u have the right to a 30 day warranty, even if you do not ahve the box. As long as you have the receipt, or credit card statement u'll be fine. Just send them a long letter explaining this. If u want i'll do it for u, just send me the information of exactly what u bought and when and i'll write it all out. The u can just add the credit card info. just a thought.

That is what i got from the official Kingmax website on the MMC products... Strangly enough unless one of them short terms is a 'Mobile Phone' >> It seems that companies that are selling it... (Especially the *--------* that sold me this card) ...are saying that it IS mobile compatable when it clearly is NOT !.
The company states that it will respond to any e-mails within 24 hours and usually a few hours... its been 24hours and no reply. I guess there gonna try to ignore me :P. If i SHALL spam attack lol. so what, they were advertising it for mobile phones?if so, you can have them for false advertising. If they weren't, u really don;t have a leg to stand on.
Yes it says on the site 'For mobile phones'
On the official Kingmax site NOWHERE does it say for mobile phones, it says EVERYTIHING else possible, but not mobiles. So i have e-mailed the company 2 days ago (Oh there pollicy is we shall always reply within 24hours and usually a few hours) and i STILL got no reply.. I will phone them soon and give them a piece of my mind... and my voicebox 😃
