Hi guys,
I just got my Nokia 6600 and was wondering the same thing. I downloaded my phonebook and messages into my pc via infra-red. But using the Nokia 6600 PC-Suite i cant seem to transfer the data into my new Nokia 6600 ;(

I used file transfer but what i get is a text message with gibberish, how do i make the phonebook.ncc go to my contacts list and my messages.ncc to my messages?

I am using bluetooth to conect to my pc by the way, had to get it cos infra-red doesn't seem compatible with Nokia 6600...

From what I know and remember, the Nokia Data Suite asks you, just before the end of the install, if you want to install the Nokia Connectivity Pack.
If you do then that is supposed to allow you to transfer files from your old mobile phone. (I never had the chance to try it cause my mobiles always seem to die before I buy the new one 😃)

Also, I know Oxygen Phone Manager 2 (www.opm-2.com) can also be used to back everything up and then transfer it and is a lot more useful than your regular Nokia Data Suite, also allowing you to edit your addressbook, change ringtones, edit profiles, change operator logos, etc.
