The 9210i Symbian OS needs an upgrade!

The symbian OS for the 9210i really sucks.

The OS hangs alot and is very slow.
It eats alot of disk space as well as navigation
is quite a bit slow and heavy.

They dont have user-friendly features such
as adding quick shortcurts or even, moving
copying, replacing files.

The popup down menus such as the install
and others which show list of files and etc
some time when are huge, load and other
time they fuckin hang and you have to reboot
the darn thing.

In summary, the software is not very user
friendly, unable to personalize it as with
windows or any other GUI application/software,
eats alot of memory, hangs most of the time even
if you dont have 3rd party software on it.

I think you should upgrade your software
SYMBIAN to the latest one for the 9210i
and its series!

All moaning about symbian

Seems everybody is getting tired of a phone when it's older that 6 months. If that's the case, don't even bother coming to forums. By the time you've registerd, you're out looking for a new model.

Seems hard for some people to appreciate something.
Escpecially when it's not the latest, biggest, .....

😡

Wow I never realized we had friends in such high places 😉

It sure is nice to see people having a serious discussion about the communicator. The forum has been so quiet for so long 😊

I think I've said it before: nothing pink for me please 😃
But I am getting tired of waiting. At the moment any brick with a gprs and a qwerty would be ok...🙄

I think that a GPS, WIFI, Bluetooth, ethernet, standard storage with no predefined limits on how many gigabytes it will access, tons or ram, your brick formfactor with your quality keyboard, a fast processor, an even better screen, the fastest available 3G data connection, stereo sound (accessible through bluetooth as well as a standard consumer electronics headset jack), good battery life and the symbian environment are much more important features than the color.

On the other hand, Apple has been very successful at selling designer colors and it would be savy marketing to provide me with different colors to choose between or at least a system of different colored skins I could choose between. I'll buy your product based on what's inside but there are many men and women who don't have as much geek inside as I do and they are paying incredible prices for those silly ipods.
