philips 3GPP camcoder pro V3.75 no audio in clips help me please
i have a problem with philips 3gpp video recorder, it don't rec audio in my clip only 1 sec rec audio then only
video, Do you have a solution? I have already delete and reinstall it many times still the same. But it works
with my 16M MMC card. and in this 128M MMC card it also have sound with the video software that comes with the
phone.
i read in another forum that nokia don't like mmc 128, my mmc after format in 125.
I have installed the philips 3GPP camcoder pro V3.75 on my 3650 (firmware v3.15). All features seem to work but
only with a 1 to 2-second audio at the start and the rest have no audio.
I have tried resetting my phone but still the same.

me too faced that problem and i don' know till now WHY??
the program was v.cool and stopped recording sound after a while form my recordin with him..
i think it's problem already and i wish sombody help us by other version of that program workin' perfectly..
Its a known problem with video recording applications.It also happened with ETI Camcorder.Some say that defragmenting the MMC helps.
U mean Defragment or formating the MMC???
Defragment on a PC with a Card Reader.
I have did the defrage but still the same.
did u all checked when u try to record, if there was free space.. cuz this problem was happend with me when the free space become v.small
The MMC card u use is made from where? I also face for this problem B4, after i change the MMC card made in China,than OK orede!
Becouce my friend is work in MMC card factory, he say inside the MMC card have 1 ic control. Only made in China MMC card have it!!!!
hi, i had the same problem with audio in clips, to solve this problem you need to change memory card.
you must buy an original nokia mmc or a mmc thet after formatting display 122mb, if it display 125 (as my card) you can't rec audio. 😞

I am using a Kingmax 256MB MMC card and have the same problem. Audio only records for one second.
Can someone please post a link to a large MMC that DOES work with the camcoder program?

hey i had the same problem and i solved it
i just installed the hantro video recorder again and it worked, but it seems that some mmc don't work with some video recorders so save the video to the phone memoty and then copy it to the mmc.
As for you fellow guy who has a kingmax mmc i would like to point that i do have one too and it works just fine with audio. btw if you want my advice , wait for either release of nokia's firmware update or philips as i see that there are many unanswered reported bugs from their side. (My problem lays mainly in funny colors on encoded video)

I was about to post about this problem but i found this thread first. I am having precisely the same problem, when i use Camcoder (don't know what version it is tough) it records audio only for the first 2 seconds.
Playing around with the settings, i found that if i put the quality to "Pro" and the framerate to "5" (!) it will record audio for about 10 seconds. But still useless.
My phone is a Nokia 3650 and the used MMC is a "NCP" 256 MB. I bought this MMC for several reasons, and one was that i suspected a memory problem previously because i had EXACTLY the same problem using the original Nokia 16 MB MMC!!
And i chose this brand out of several because the guy at the shop told me that "these are made in Taiwan and only these have some chip inside that makes them compatible with some applications that won't work on others" but he couldn't tell me what apps that are. And because i got a free fullversion of "Netfront" on top of it 😊
Now since i HAD the same problem with the original MMC, opposed to what others stated here (and how in the world can a MMC, which is a dumb passive storage device, "select" to store audio along with video or not??) i am asking if there is a way around this problem? I have tried another video recording application (but forgot it's name already, was a trial version of something that allowed only max. 999 kb file size) and that COULD record the audio just fine, as so does the original "Video Recorder" which was on the phone by Nokia. It's only with "Camcoder" where this problem occurs.
Here too, uninstalling it and reinstalling it won't help.
Any help on the issue..?
