I just got my P900 and chose english UK, but the hand recognition all comes up in simplified chinese along with some functions.

I have tried to use the pc suite to get english on but nothing there. Tried to download an update but it says there is none.

Is there anyway I can just have english on the p900 as it is a great phone otherwise.

TIA

In the lower right conner, there should be a icon which let you switch between normal status bar and input handwritting input bar. In handwritting input bar, you should able to change between chinese input and english input in the lower left conner.

Note the black triangle in the mid-right side change when input language changed.

There are more info about that in the user manual.

yeah, i got that going, but I was also wondering if you can get the chinese out of the menus.

If I go to switch b/w all, media, tools, games comes up in chinese.

Also when I go into jotter and change b/w business and personal the 3rd option is in chinese.

Anyway to get rid of them?

for the folder name, I think you might have to do the conversion manually.

You can just use the edit folder function and change the Chinese catagories to English ones.
