Can't send to PC with BlueTooth

I can send files to my 6600 from my PC and can copy files onto my PC by dragging files from the File Transfer folder in My Bluetooth Places.

If I try to send any file from my phone to my PC by selecting Send/Via Bluetooth my phone gets to 'Sending' and then says unable to connect. I cant use any other 6600 to PC app (ie Oxygen Phone Manager, Remote Server) either.

I have a Mitsumi dongle which worked fine with my 7650 but I've reformatted my computer since...

Theres loads of info on this, do a search in th 7650 forum.

Bsicaly you need the newest widcomm stack drivers on your PC and if that does not do it there is a registry tweek you need to do, basically your PC is not accepting .jpgs as allowed files to receive.

Fairly old topic this, but since I've found a solution for it (after a LONG fight..) I thought I'd share:

the reason why all my Phone-to-PC -traffic was blocked ('unable to connect' or sumthin) was that I hadn't enabled 'PIM-item transfer' on my Bluetooth software (on my PC that is). Now: I never intended to transfer PIM's (personal information -sumthins), which is why I didn't turn it on. All I wanted, was to transfer images (and some odd files) through bluetooth, since using a card reader required the phone to be shut down (and the 6600 takes ages to 'boot' 😉

now I'm able to transfer anything FROM my phone TO my computer via bluetooth.
