Im trying to convert files (my own !) to 3gp and come up against the same problem on the same file or two over and over.
itll start to convert - much quicker than normal - get to the same point and the prog will terminate.
im not very technical but this seems as if the info from the file im converting is still in a temp dir & therefore causing the same error ? does this sound feasible ?
other files work fine, regardless of size (from 1gb to 20mb) and type (avi or mpg).
help !!!
Sorry didnt reply earlier didnt notice your post. its the file you are converting most likely has some small hicup or is corrupt and causes multimedia converter to fail. Try watching the file you created and see if it works if it does then I really dont know what to do other than try mobiclip or smartmovie.

Yup its either most likely wat shadow said or you need to update your java application on your pc. I think the new one is 1.4 or something like that.

DaiMonde,big portions,if not the whole multimedia convertor application is coded in java,so you need Java runtime environment for it to work.
If other things fail, try converting your clip into something else like a .avi file using VirtuaDub.
Then use that clip for the MultiMediaConverter...
