Can't define Mailbox — Nokia 7650 — All About Symbian Forum Archive

Hi to all,

A month ago when i purchased 7650 and set up e-mail account everything was working normally...then some crash happened (some "app error" message), and after that i simply can't define new mailbox.

Access point is defined normally, and when I come to messaging/options/email setup there is line "Mailboxes" and "Mailbox in use". Under that "Mailbox in use" stays GSM number of one of my friends (?!) and when i try to change it, message "No mailbox defined, create a new one?" appears.

Of course, i pressed yes, and after entering parameters, and trying to exit message "Messaging:system error" appears.

Anyone knows what is the problem and how to fix it?

Hi again,

I have exact error that appeared to me on 7650, maybe this will clarify thing a little bit...it goes like this:

"App Closed
AppArcServerThread
backup srv 0"

I had this error message as well - but everything works fine! sorry!

I've installed System Tools from Psiloc, registered it and formated 7650...now everything works like a charm! 😃

im pay as u go and i cant define anything let alona mailbox what settings do u put i have wap done thats about it
