Does anyone know if it's possible for a handset manufacturer to build a phone with a small QVGA (240x320) screen that runs under Series 60?
Looking at some of the new phones on sale in Japan (& also the Sharp GX20 in Europe), it seems that 2.2-inch QVGA screens are going to be pretty important in the next year or so. I'd have thought that Nokia & others would want to create phones with similar-size high-res displays.
I know that DoCoMo FOMA version of Symbian supports QVGA and also UIQ, but I see nothing to suggest that S60 can. (Maybe there will be a S70 launched at 3GSM in Cannes?)
...and if it is possible to make a S60 QVGA phone, is it likely that existing S60 apps could run easily, or with minimal modification?
