Decreased Phone Performance

Today i realized that my phone perfomance decreased.
I restarted phone but that doesn't solve the problem.
Is my little phone want a full format ?
How could i fix that ?

Look for the file gnirrehder.ini in the K: and delete it, you will need a file explorer for this.
Then defrag your c: try to keep your MMC card cool, I do this by NEVER putting my phone in my pocket, instead wear it on your belt. Also try to hold it upside down whilst using it, the data flows quicker when traveling downwards.

Normally does the trick.

You mean sensible suggestions?

You could format your phone, stop running any applications you have in the background and if you have a lot of files on your MMC, delete as much as possible (pictures etc)

Actually, the single biggest problem that slows your phone down is using your own themes.

If you have a personalised theme running, switch to the 'default' one and see if it makes a difference.

We no linger use any themes on our phones at work because of this very problem.

i tried but didn't noticed any difference.
btw my phone works well 2-3 days ago with same config.

maybe my problem is a java game which i installed an uninstalled immediately.

I find that the only themes that slow down my phone are ones bigger than 250kb.
They do vary a lot,the ones i make tend to come out at around 240kb so they seem to be fine on my phone, but i have seen others to be as much as 480kb!!!!!!!!!!!
I think this is caused by editing too much in theme studio,so its best to stick to the most visual stuff and not change absolutely everything.😊

Dunno then mate, i guess the first thing i would try is to uninstall all your 3pty apps and see how much it speeds up and then re install one at a time, and hopefully you will then find the prob!
Try this before format! (not so drastic)

i formatted phone using *#7370#
phone works well now, speed increased very noticable 😊

sorry elton and karlsha, i didn't tried your solutions, maybe next time 😊

karlsha: which log file you talking about ? c:\system\install\install.log file ?

I found that some applications use alot of memory and slowing down the phone quite alot.
This is e.g. the message system in my case which I usually keep open all the time and when I have 50+ messages in the inbox, the phone gets really slow.

I guess that applications which have to handle long lists (messages, images, ...) need alot of memory and slowing down the phone if left running for a few days.
