how much space does each voice dial tag take

where is it stored? (the voice dial tag) and how much space does each roughly take?

hi,
they're working out at under 2kb each.
i've checked how much space contacts uses in the storage manager, recorded a few tags, then checked again, it used about 10kb each. then i compressed contacts using Sman, this took it down to about 1.5kb each.

ahhh, nice one mate, i thoguht they'd take loads, i used to have this voice control program for the 7650, and each voice recognition file took like 50 kb

Somewhat related is the fact that the backup restore function does not backup the voice tags. Recently performed a firmware upgrade to the phone and after the restore all was there except for the voice tags. Any idea where these tags are stored and how to manually save them with a file manager type program?

yup, the restore doesn't restore the voice dials, but what's worse, is that when you have a voice dial, they create a special voice dial group in your contacts, and after restoring, the contacts that have been assigned voice dials, still are in that group, still saying they have avoice dial, but it's not actually their.
