how to find the RAM of a phone

It is said that the ngage has 12MB RAM
the 6600 has 10 MB
I want to know how to determine the RAM size

PhoneInfo http://my-symbian.com/7650/applications/applications.php?fldAuto=216&faq=2 will show the available free RAM (meaning Dynamic RAM, DRAM) .

The N-Gage has 16MB of DRAM.

Of that, some 300K is used for a RAM disk (D-drive), and phone components leaving about 10MB for applications to use. Which is what PhoneInfo will report.

In addition there's Flash RAM used as disk storage (visible as the C-drive) and Flash ROM (Z-drive) + of course Flash RAM available via memory cards (MMC).

MMC's can also be ROM (like the N-Gage game MMCs).

thanx
but suppose i load my MMC to the limit
i have a 256 mb card and say i load upto 253 mb
then will my games work????

Even if you fill it upto 256mb of RAM.

The memory on your storage will not effect running applications.
