Voice commands problem

2 replies · 3,896 views · Started 23 February 2004

I've just Hard reseted my 6600, when I restored the phone and memory card, I've discovered that the present voice commands did not work, can't be changed, and could not be deleted either, all I can do now is add new voice commands. Another strange thing is when I playback the present voice commands I just get a blank sound for less than a second. Any attempt to delete a command (so that I can start over) I get a "voice command system error" message. I hope any expert out there can help me out, voice commands really help me out when driving on the highway.

Try formatting the phone using the following steps.

Hold the Green Answer Key & * & the 3 key, then power up the unit. Make sure that the battery is fully charged before you do this.

Other than that it sounds like a visit to your local CNSP for a re-flash.

Please let us know of the out come.
