How to use PC win internet connection with P800 + USB cable

if you mean you want to browse the internet with your Phone through your PC internet connection with the USB cradle...

then just connect to internet in your PC, put your phone on it's cradle, open Opera application ( you can get the latest version from here ) and you're browsing the web for free! (I mean no GPRS or anything) you don't need to setup anything 😉

yep I try that ! but no sucess ?!?

Do i need setup DNS or IP of my phone ? or something else like that ?

How to test, or debug ?

I allready have have 3 connection on my p800 :
- wap
- web
- mms

do i need create another one to ?

yes, you have to create an Internet account (a dummy one) just to fool the phone that there is an account to access the internet, and when it fails to connect through it, it'll try through your PC!

How-to set up the connexion ?

Do i need to setup a new "internet account" or "Wap account" in conf panel ?

do i need set an ipv4 IP ?
Do you have a documentation or know a web page ?

as I said before...
create an Internet Connection, a dummy one (put anything you want inside)

ok, guess you need it a step by step process 🙄
1. go to Control panel -> connections -> Internet Accounts
2. click on New, name your account (try Fake), connection type GPRS
3. click on Done

that's it, then connect your phone to your PC through cradle or bluetooth, open Opera, enter the web address you like

p.s. your PC should be connected to the Intenet

Juste a thing : setup firewall to authorize mRouterRuntime.exe to acces to internet.

p.s. off course my PC is connected to the Intenet :tongue:

well, that depends on your firewall, as if it's ZoneAlarm, then you just accept the connection that mrouter and mark it as "always accept".

otherwise if it's a different firewall, then you've just got to do it yourself 😉 sorry!

so hold on - you have to browse the internet through your phone connected to the docking station - when your pc is on already! why not use the damn pc!

you can also do that using your Bluetooth adaptor, so you can lie down on your bed, and browse some websites away fro your PC 🙄 !
