why cant i talk bout BLZinstaller

You know I dont understand your rules you close off a thread because some1 was talking about the blz installer. Now I have visited sites where they have offered freeware blz files I see nothing Illegal about that but you allow people to freely talk bout ripping dvd files and putting them on the phone. Last I remember DVDs in many different regions had Copyright protections. So are you endorsing the fact that it is wrong to copy game files but its ok to copy movie files?

We are endorsing nothing of the sort. Every time someone rips a dvd its there own dvd and its for there own personal use since there is no way currently to buy movies for your n-gage. Blzfiles on the other hand are cracked games so in essence they have already violated the copyright agreement as soon as they exist. Also you can not argue that you want a blzfile backup of your games since blzfile games sometimes are inferior to the actual game. So since this forum wishes to stay on the right side of the law such topics are not to be discussed.

Backing Up games is illegal, as it violates the Trademarks and Copyright of the Publisher. Blizzard is only used for cracked games and therefore has no legal use, hence why it is a closed subject.

How are the games inferior?? What happens to them what do they lack?? Excuse me if i'm being dumb

In red faction I think and Pandemonium there seems to be a frame drop and a general slow down of the game. Thats what I have heard. Also some games are unable to use bluetooth for multiplayer.

The original code of these games has been tampered with so framedrops and lack of features is not the worst thing that can happen.Don't come here for help when your device is damaged by some cracked/pirate/warezed game or application.

As of yet i dont know of anyone who personally knows how to back up an N-gage game that works, so people who say they have backed up their original games, have most likely done nothing or the sort. They have instead downloaded the cracked versions. Even if it was legal to back up your own games, its not possible for the individual to do any way. Therefore it is encouraging the use of warez.

People have to remember that this is total different to DVD's backup etc. If people make back ups of their games and encourage warez, nokia will be less likely to release new games. If you backup your DVD, its hardly encouraging warez, due to the sheer size of the file, it wud make it hard to share via the internet.
So for your own sake, and to allow new games to be released for your ngage, just dont bother talkin about blz! Simple as that!
