How do you get an Orange update? I bought mine last Friday, and whilst it has a recent firmware�

�it's not the latest as you list. However, when trying to acces the auto update it tells me that I can't update from this as my supplier (Orange) hasn't authorised it (Paraphrasing here, can't quite remember the wording).
If there's a workaround, I'd be keen to know.

you don't need a work around do you? although orange p900's are not being shipped with the latest firmware, the online update accepts them

You are quite correct! After I posted the above I had another go, and this time the system accepted my number. Must have mis-typed before - DOH!🙄
(The signature line is a joke, if that's not obvious)
Also managed to do the update via Virtual PC on a Mac.
A bit nerve-racking, but then who here hasn't tried tugging loose threads in the fabric of reality...😎
