bluetooth headset connectivity

if i use a bt headset will the phone still ring

so if i 'connect' any bt headset i need to have the headset on my head to hear the phone ring - correct?

Depending on your phone settings the phone will still vibrate as normal. Also, most headset have their own ringtone. I have a Jabra 200 that rings once externally(not particularly loud though I admit). You can then hear your phone's normal ringtone through the internal headset speaker. I think the general idea is for you to be wearing the headset while driving so you would therefore have it on anyway. Because of this the external ring (which you cannot change on my Jabra) cannot be too loud or it would scare the hell out of you (or deafen you) everytime you got a phone call.
