How many of you agree here... the price we pay for our communicators is reasonably enough we should get a greater warranty period from nokia?
Currently all phones have 1 year of warranty. But specially for phones above $500 how many of you agree it should be raised from 3-5 years??!

I think it should be more.
We buy a desktop PC for the same amount.
90% of the parts have 3 years warranty such
as the processor, mainboard etc and even the
monitor has warranty upto 5 years or so.
Even if so you buy a laptop for 3/4 the price
of the commy which is almost the same it
has also warranty 5 years at the most.
And for this only 1 year? what the heck??!

I got 2 TWO years for nokia 6600 so i guess it will be OK.
This is topic and thread is relating to the communicator
such as 9210i and 9210, not for the 6600.
I was talking that nokia only gives 1 year warranty
for their communicators and that period should be
increased.

there is only one way around this and that is typr ur self up a new receipt sayin u brought it 7-8 months ago and its faulty- thats what "someone" i know did and got there's repaired for free!
may sound like a bit of a scam- but who scammed us in the first place with a crap 1yr warranty?

expesnive parts such as the LCD, TFT (transisitors) and others
should have atleast 3 years warranty by phone manufacturer's especially nokia, if they think their on top of the world with their cellular devices!

well i was looking to buy the sony dscf717 digital camera its
really awesome same price as the phone 9500 when it will
come out, so i'll think i'll go for the digital camera.
and ya..they should have 3 years warranty for the 9500
or ima pwn their @$$ 😃~~~
