Volume Alarm

I have a question about a voume setting.

When I go to the settings of my alarm I can choose the ringtone for the alarm and then I hear it very loud and clear. For some reason though, when the alarm goes off, it's very soft. I was wondering where I can change this volume.

I have looked at profiles and changed the volume there to the highest one, but that doesn't help. Does the ringing volume in profiles count for everything btw?

i have faced the same problem. and looks like the ringer volume decides universal volume levels.
have checked by changing it an then setting the alarm. it works.

Does noone have a solution for this problem. I have heard I am not the only one. My cousin just got the same phone and has the exact same problem. It must be possible to increase the volume of the alarm... If not on the phone there must be software for it?

I guess the only way to fix it would be to format the phone, but I really don't wanna do that... So much hassle putting the settings back and all.

Still noone with the same problem?

For some reason it now works if I turn off the vibration.

When I have vibration on the alarm, and the ringing volume are really soft, even when the volume is set to max. As soon as I turn vibration off, it works fine.

This can't be normal can it?

If you talk about thecalender Alarm sound volume there is a tricky thing you should know.

As far as I know all calender alarms will get louder and louder (increasing sound volume), but they restart everytime when the sound-file ends.
This means - a longer sound-file causes louder volume ...

Stupid - but that seems to be the way it is ...

I noticed that for the clock alarm too. I am using the Rooster sound that came with the phone, so it's a pretty short file, but it sounds perfect and awfully loud when vibration is off. As soon as vibration is on I need to put my ear next to the phone to hear it.
