Well, they did it, they cast their magic and they ruled the show.
The Lord Of The Rings won all 11 nominations, the first fantasy movie to do so and the first ever movie to win all of its nominations back to back.
It is now up there in history, in the cinematic Hall Of Fame.
Some say that it was rigged, that it was predictable.........well I say damn right too, and its about time.
7 years in the making of this epic mixture of great classic story-telling and new technology, 3 years of the sweat, bruises and blood of the cast and crew and painstaking detail to everything else besides. They deserve all the accolades they get.
We will not forget this movie in a long time to come.
