SMS Symbian problems - PLS help!

Hi,
My SMS inbox has suddenly stopped working. I can get into the Inbox but if i try to open a message, nothing happens. Have pressed the navigation button and also tried Options>>Open. The same thing happens if i try to create a new message. Otherwise everything is working. (Orange UK phone running firmware v3.49)

1. Does anyone know how to fix this

2. If i format the phone, what settings do i need to get resent from Orange?

3. Is there anyone i should call to fix?

p.s I can create an MMS fine........!

ok - very strange.......problem only seems to occur if i have the memory in use for text messages set to "Memory Card". Otherwise works fine. Does this mean my memory card is corrupt? or full?
