I'm new to this forum.This is the first time i write to u.
So i want to buy a nokia 3660 and i want to know which is the most advanced os,i mean the latest version of symbian,because i have a friend who have bought a nokia 6600 and some application doesnt work on it,and this is because he has an old version os Symbian(i think).
So please help me...

It's the other way around mate, the OS in the 6600 (Symbian Operating System 7.0s) is newer hence the compatability problems with some applications.
But these are being fixed one by one.
The 3660, although it has the same screen and an MMC it uses the older Symbian V6.1 OS. Hence this phone will accept all the older apps with no trouble, but the 6600 OS is newer & still a little buggy but new firmware on the way to correct hiccups 😛

I'd pick a 6600 over the 3660, but it is more expensive and in terms of features/functions you won't loose very much going with the 3660 either.
Then most obvious thing from a normal user's point of view is the lack of themes support in the 3660 (but you can get almost the same results by installing an app like SmartLauncher on the 3660).
The decision is yours.

Doesnt the 6600 have more memory (RAM) than the 3660? The "out of memory"-messages are starting to bug me on my 3650. I thought 3650 and 3660 have same size RAM.
So if 6600 has more RAM than 3660, i see that as a BIG advantage.
Also, i have SmartLauncher, wich is nice. But the themes on the 6600 look so much better and they are integrated with the OS. I'm waiting for the next symbian phone to be announced by Nokia and i'm skipping the 6600.

And i still dont know how much cost Nokia 3660 in $...If anyone has one please tell me how much do u payed for it.

3660 is about 340USD and the 6600 is about 500 USD.
I'm 90% sure that the 3650 has the same RAM as 3660. They are completely the same except that the 3660 has a 16 bit screen (65.536 colors) and a normal keypad.
The 6600 has 6MB phone memory, the 3650/60 has 3,4MB. The 6600 has more RAM. And the 6600 has a newer version of the Symbian OS.
I would love to upgrade my 3650 to a 6600, but sadly i dont have the money for it now. So thats why i wait for a new Series 60 Nokia phone.
