Wireless PDA Keyboard with P900???

hey guys... does anyone know or have tried using a wireless PDA keyboard with your P900?

my friend gave me his, but I don't know how to get it working. It's the Belkin Wireless PDA Keyboard: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Product_Id=144042

I've already emailed them asking if they have any drivers for that, but they didn't reply me...

This keyboard is actually very similar to the SnapNType T806 Universal Infrared Keyboard for Px00 advertised on the Unofficial Club Sony Ericsson website: http://www.clubsonyericsson.com/en/products_uaccesories_snapntype.shtml

It'd be really cool to have it working with my P900... 😊

TIA guys 😉

Well there are some open source keyboard drivers here for both Series 60 and UIQ. They don't specifically mention the Belkin however. Can you let us know if they work?

I've just tried installing.... but i dont' know how to get it working..
😞

the program seem to have installed fine.... but I don't know how it connects to the keyboard... 😞

does anyone know how?

There is a short review of Palm Wireless Keyboard HERE.

But it is not the model that you have I think. Anyway, it shows how to activate the driver.

i use the pocketop (www.pocketop.net) keyboard with my p900 on a daily basis (lecture notes etc... lol surprisingly useful though!), open the app up and try out the pocketop driver first (click on it in the keyboard app and go into jotter and type something to try it) because the belkin looks remarkably similar! let us know how it goes!

As part of my searching, I've found another cheap IR keyboard for the P900
