Does anyone have the settings to sync with Outlook from the phone?
Nokia 6600 Sync Settings
On the phone you don't need to configure any settings to sync with Outlook, if you sync using PC Suite.
All you need to do is to enable infrared or Bluetooth (see the 6600 User's Guide for that; esp. the Bluetooth pairing process).
Then you install and set up PC Suite. If you use Bluetooth, your PC's Bluetooth software should be used to first create a virtual serial (COM) port for PC Suite to use. Not always easy & if your PC's Bluetooth adapter uses drivers from WidComm (most do), the drivers should be v1.3.* or v1.4.* to work best. You can also search for "PC Suite" using this site's Search facility:

If you try to do a remote synchronization, then you can't connect directly to Outlook, but you need to connect to a SyncML server, which connects to the backend email system (like Microsoft Exchange), which you access with Outlook.
I suppose someone could also create a PC-based SyncML server you could connect to, if the PC is accessible on the Internet.
One Internet-accesible SyncML service provider is http://www.mightyphone.com/
Use the same search link and look for posts about "SyncML" for more details.
No I actually meant setting up the sync functions on the handset itself. Menu> Connectivity> Sync.
That's the Remote Sync client, which is a so called SyncML client. It needs a SyncML server on the network to talk to (and the settings there are the settings for a SyncML server, not Outlook).
In other words, it is not used for Outlook (direct phone to PC) sync at all.
For that, you need to use the Nokia PC Suite for the 6600. It will work if your PC has infrared (IrDA) or Bluetooth connectivity. The latest version of it is on http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,42280,00.html
Ok, well I do have the PC suite on my pc, so do I have to configure it to sync with that?
Yes. Your PC needs an infrared (IrDA) port/adapter or a Bluetooth adapter.
If it doesn't have either one, go for Bluetooth as it doesn't require line of sight and it is faster. However, search the forums for Bluetooth adapters people have been successful with (I use a Belkin USB adapter myself currently). And for one that use drivers from WidComm, get one that supports WidComm drivers version 1.3.* or 1.4.* or later (if such exist).

Follow up question, then why does the Nokia Book say compatible computer or on Internet?
What Nokia Book are you referring to, exactly (also page number & actual, complete quote of the text would be nice, too)?
