3660 theme

There is no inbuilt app for doing this as there is in the 6600. I beleive this is due to the s/w version, 3660 Symbian 6.1 & 6600 Symbian 7.0.

You might be able to find a 3rd party theme or skin app but Im not sure of a good one!

Anyone else know of one?

actually the problem is with the Series 60 ver

for 3660 it's still using the old one which is ver 1.1 or 1.0

for 6600 it's using 1.2 which support Themes

i'm a bit confused why Nokia did this for 3660 which release after 6600 but still got older Series 60 version with Symbian 6.0

please correct me if i'm wrong about the software versions i kinda forgot

Even if Nokia (or any phone manufacturer) may be one single company, many organizations (business unit) inside create their phone products concurrently in different cycles starting at different points of time and base their products on different hardware and software components.

Many factors affect final launch timing, which also means that a project that has starter earlier than another may still end up released to the market later than another project that started later, but finished early/earlier.

Hmm maybe I oughta wait for more Symbian 7.0 devices to be out. I'm still rather tempted by the N3660 😃 Didn't know Symbian 6.0 couldn't do the theme thing
