has anyone else found that their 6600 drops its signal a lot? i used to have a 7650 and it was nearly always at 100% but this phone seems to be far worse. i often have no signal in places where i used to have. (i am on voda in the N.E england).
Signal Strength
My 6600 is virtually always at full strength, hasnt dropped out at all since Ive had it. This is using the same SIM from a T610, which always seemed to struggle to find a decent reception. Its one of the best phones reception wise Ive ever had.
Im on o2 in the East Midlands.
mines very good on o2 in leicester as well
i live in spain and mine is not always full but... i cant complain about the signal... is better than my old SE T610 (love my 6600 😃 )
My 6600 is the best phone i have had for signal strength,i too can get a signal in places i previously couldnt,have you switched networks or have you always been on vodafone?
Check with other vodaphone users in your area as you may have an aerial fault inside,i had that prob once before on a previous nokia!😊
I live at Newcastle and most of the times I have full signal.
It loses its signal only in underground 😃 😎 😃

Using O2 here in london and its always at max or one below. The 6600 has proven to be my strongest phone for reception since I've got a dead spot near my home where both my Siemens A55 & SL55 as well as my old T68i can't get no signal. The 6600 gets 3-4 bars.
This is my first nokia too.
My 6600 dropped a call due to poor signal on my last trip to Mars.
I guess Orange will soon have Masts up there soon. 😃 😃
I believe Johnson and Johnson have been comissioned for "Mars Antenna" and are set to orbit later this year.

I found a shop at London and it was selling it �20 each ..... xaxaxa and I found the same on ebay �10 you can get 100 pieces. 😛
Judging by the posts above,6600s generally have good signal so no need for amp!

Don't waste your money on antenna boosters.
A passive only device is not going to boost your signal.
This is no substitute for a proper installed carkit with external antenna.
sorted the problem...turns out voda have had some problems with my local cell for the past few weeks.
