SE Z1020 --> UIQ Device?

It's just a rumour, and the pictures look pretty fake. But it would be nice if it is true. New SE devices will be announced tomorrow, so I guess we'll have to wait and see....

The weird thing about the pictures is, that if you select the chrome model pictures it shows the "OS" that the T610/630 use, and if you click on the black model pictures, it shows UIQ. And the report claims the screenresolution is 240x320, which seems pretty weird for a UIQ...

Those pictures are just drawings, not shots of a real device.

That part is not weird at all. From the UIQ 2.1 Product Description:

2.1.1 Screen sizes
UIQ v2.1 provides two different sizes:
  • Communicator configuration: 240x320 pixels (1/4 VGA), dot pitch 0.24
  • Smartphone configuration: 208x320 pixels, dot pitch 0.192

Well yeah, this phone will probably never be released😞

However 3 new phones and 4 new accesoires will be announced by SE today at 12(GMT). I doubt a UIQ device will be one of them (S700, K700 and Z500, no new P-series), but you never know!
