Hello people... I have a 3650, and I have a lot of pictures and apps on my 128MB MMC.
Suddenly my telephone doesn't work, if I take out MMC it works perfectly, then I think the card crashes.
I read in another topic, how I can format the SIM Card... but I don't think it's the solution here, maybe I have to do it on my MMC.. but how? When I put MMC it take a lot of time to turn on, and after I put SIM code and security code I can't do anything more...😕 😕
Could you help me please??
Now it's official... I have the message: Memory Card Corrupted. what's the code to reformat it? I would like a code that will not format my SIM Card...😞
you might need a memory card reader.
They are pretty cheap on eBay
maybe try on other devices such as 6600 which got bigger RAM first see if it's still displaying Mem Card Corrupted
else u need the Card Reader
You can t format a SIM card because the sim card is nothing to do with nokia. It s related to your operator. So the problem can t be from you sim card. If not matter what you wanna get a new one, you can go to store that provides your operator and ask for copy of you sim card. (they ll normaly charge you, unless you say your card is corrupted then they ll do it for free.) they ll give you a nez sim card (you keep the same number of course) that card will be operational within two hours.
About your mmc if you have a pc card reader judt go into "my computer" right click on the reader then "format"
If you don t have a reader: try to turn you phone on with you mmc in (if it doesn work with your phone use someon's else) then go to menu "extras" then "memory" then format you card.
then it should work fine.

or get a digital camera that does mmc
Get a card reader to see what's inside, or maybe a Palm, or maybe a PPC or yes, a Nokia 6600 which has got 6MB in built to test out the card
Hold the pencil buttion while starting up, than the phone wont use the installed software on the MMC, release button when fully started up
