Connecting via cable to P800
more importantly, WHERE DID YOU BUY ONE???
Well, I only have a prototype and I couldn't get a connection with a Windows 2000 PC through USB cable ...
It seems that I need some extra drivers for that, well, I haven't got any CD from them or something like that.
Do you have them?
The only way to transfer files was through the IR port and a notebook, beaming the files one way to the other...

We have a prototype P800 that came with a USB cradle. The SDK
documentation says that gdb will only work over a serial or IR connection.
No software came with our device. As a result, I am stuck on how to transfer files to the phone.
Where did you get Symbian Connect 7?
BUT WHERE & HOW DID U GET FROM????????
WHERE???
WHERE???

Answering my own question, here is a link to that software:
http://www.ericsson.com/mobilityworld/newsletter/temp/symbian_connect_ver_017a.zip
It configures the USB connection to appear like a COM port (mine showed up as COM4). I am using Windows 2000.
I was also able to use QFileMan (install through the .sis) from the Quartz SDK on the P800.
