how do i install apps into my fone with only the mmc card reader ?

how do i install apps into my fone ?
Search the forum, already answered but anyway, transfer the sis files to the root/top directory of your MMC then start App.Manager and install it from there.
I put
fexplorer.sis
on my MMC via MMC reader of my PC in the root of the MMC.
App Manager cannot see the application?
What do I do wrong?
I spent 3 days trying to put the sis file in every corner of the MMC.
I read hundreds of messages but I cannot figure it out!!!!
Thanks

Do you still have the boxes your phone came in?
Why? Are you telling me it is broken?????
Arg!

I was going to be unkind, forgive me.
Put the file in C:\nokia\installs
Then go to App Manager and you should see it listed at the bottom as an uninstalled app, click it to install.

I was going to return the phone tomorrow as this method was not working for me😕
However I followed this guy's idea (after a lucky research):

It worked!
Brilliant!
Thank you for your patience!

_My mate,
_At the beginning of using and installing, actually, direct connectting medium is required. It must be one of these: IR, cable, bluetooth.. or any which let your PC "see" the mobile. Because, at least you must have some file managing program. You can do anything then, simply just with your current card reader.
_So, try this, pal. You can come to some phone service, just ask them to install one (any) file managing software. Then, you can go home and make your phone the hottest on the earth. 😃
_Or, try this. Send an MMS with an SIS file (should be some file managing software, firstly) included to your phone. When open it, installer will make it right.
_Hope that you can make it.

Anh Tuan
The renaming to jpg trick described in the above url works like a charm,so no direct connecting medium is needed.
