Like the title says,i need i mp3,wav to .aac convertor so i can play .aac files on the N-Gage's built-in player.I searched Google with no luck.

Don't know is this is any good for you..
It converts WAV to AAC
Good luck

Thanks for the help Will.I tried it,and it doesn't seem to work with the N-Gage as loads of other AAC encoders i tried: http://www.mp3-tech.org/programmer/encoding.html
http://mp3.com.pl/aac.html

But i thought of a small trick on how you can convert any audio format to n-gage working .aac using Nero Image drive and Nokia Audio Manager.
Nokia Audio Manager has the ability to rip Audio CD music to .aac.The only problem is that the riping process is to slow and if you want to rip your mp3's to .aac you'll have to burn them on CD's first.
To speed up the riping/converting process you can "cheat" Nokia's Audio Manager by burning a Nero Image of an Audio CD and mounting it using Nero's ImageDrive. After that you just start Nokia Audio Manager select the appropriate drive and convert.
If anyone is interested in a more in-detail guide, let me know.
PS: AAC is awesome,i have 20 minutes of excelent quality music in just 13.8 MB.
What you could also try is I-Tunes for Windows (Or Mac)
This is an awesome tool too! 😊
Next to being an cool Media-Player for Audio it can also convert CDs, Wav, MP3 etc into AAC or MP3...
(Although AAC is good, I still stick to MP3 for my I-Pod... 😃 Just because I am lazy I guess...)
I tried it long before a posted this workaround.I-Tunes encoded AAC does not work on the N-Gage.
I don't get it, my PVAUTHOR encode in AAC but they flat refuse to play on the N-Gage.
Are there different 'TYPES' of AAC, surely this is a joke.
This is goddam MP4 fer crissakes, if they can't ge this right ,what hope do we have.

iTunes encoded AAC does not work on the N-Gage.
Have you tried the different encoding options?
bitrate / samplerate / mono-stereo ?
I only tried the N-Gage default recording settings and it did not work.
Update. There are quite a few .AAC encoders these days.I use Easy CD-DA extractor.
I use dbPowerAmp...........its easy, fast and free*......go to Download.com and do a search, i cant remember the weblink right now.
(*without the Powerpack, which in turn adds alot more funtionality, including ripping directly to you mobile device)
