Mobiclip video problems

Hi,

I obtained a copy of the Mobiclip convertor, but I'm having problems with the files I create.

I convert the video with VirtualDub first, and then convert it to a .mo file. Both the .avi and .mo files play perfectly in their respective players. The problem is, when I put the files on my 6600 they are not recognised as valid .mo files, and will therefore not play.

<edit>
I have tried using both the settings and the video file contained within the Mobiclip tutorial, yet I still have the same problem.
</edit>

Can anyone offer me some advice on what I can do to rectify this problem?

Thanks,

Mike😕 😕

Yes, the Mobiclip player is installed on my phone.

I should mention that the simple samples available on their website seem to work ok, so it must be something I'm going wrong in VirtualDub. But I've tried using CoolIce's settings (thanks!), as well as the tutorial settings, and neither work.

RealPlayer is satisfying my Futurama craving at the moment, but the lack of full screen is starting to bug me. 😊

C'mon guys, I need your help! I appear to be the only person having this problem, and I've tried every permutation of the settings that I think could help.

Can someone else who was lucky enough to get Mobiclip before it was removed from the public domain please post their settings file can I try them?

Any comments, pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Did you create a file called 'mobiclip' and put the files in there? then accessing them through the mobclip player?

Hi,

Thanks for the compliments on the settings 😊 Shame they didn't appear to work.

Are you using the new player or the old one for the phone?

The reason I ask this is because old clips I made in the past will not work with the newly released player and so far I have not been successful in creating anymore .MO clips yet.
To top it all I've been spending to much time with Smart Movie to try anything new with the latest MobiClip, but I'm slowly playing with it again.

To me, from what I'm reading it sounds as if you are having this problem also, mixing the old style with the new player maybe. However I am struggling to and so cannot help anymore at the moment either.

I know there is another converter for MobiClip called Moanc I think, but this I struggled with to.

Try the attached settings, it's been a while so I'm hoping these are to correct one's.

If I sort it out I'll post what I've done.

Ian
