A new problem just arised. The standard internet explorer on my phone is the only program that works with the GPRS. No other program would connect to the internet. I am on Vodafone UK contract. I tried Opera, orange scribble and world mate and non of them want to connect. Help needed.
Programs with GPRS
1. The default internet browser is NOT called Internet Explorer, hehe... 😃
2. The default browser works through a WAP gateway, Opera and WorldMate etc. does NOT. You need a GPRS INTERNET gateway/access point to make them work. Check with your operator or search the forum for the settings.
3. Just search the bloody forum, every single possible question you can think of concerning the Px00 have been brought up and answered a million times before. 😊

I am on Vodafone in Germany. I use web.vodafone.de - has workd for ages, all Opera versions.

Perhaps if you posted your current default internet account settings (other than the username and password, obviously) someone might be able to help. Just telling us it doesn't work doesn't give us any clues!
Plus, a quick e-mail to vodaphone user support just to make sure they really have enabled an Internet GPRS account and not a WAP GPRS account would be worthwhile. They have been known to make "one or two" (!) mistakes in the past. Double checking couldn't hurt. It does sound as if you are connecting to a WAP gateway and not and internet one. But without seeing your settings, it is impossible to help you.
Just came back from SE service centre. The problem was with the phones software. The support staff there said that it was the AppForge booster that srewed up the operating system (symbian)!!! Not only the GPRS did not work, frequent crashes was its fault as well. Take this into account ...... Crazy sh*t. Did anyone alse expirience any other problems after installing AppForge?

appforge is notorious for cousing problems on the Px00. That's why most of us don't have it installed
i agree with you , AppForge always problems!!
i did find out about them.
Then i found download from other company.
i download to my P900 from them called 'Booster 4.0'
then its working Booster 4.0 with all of appforge games!!!
