nice pics.. thanks man..isn't there anybody that have been their and have som more private photos?? // vidde

Thanks for the pictures, dragon-tmd.

So, did you like it? Was the screen clear, and the keypad comfortable?

Nice pics, got to get one of these phones.
I bet its going to be sometime in May now. Looked at quite a few phone websites and there is hardly any mention of it, even to pre-register interest!!
Did you take any photo's or video with the phone dragon? If so what is the quality like?
Cheers

Yeah, but the link only know what's coming in the day the van turns up!
I remember asking them about the 3650 when that first came out, only to be given a blank stare and don't know answer.
5 days later they were on the shelves 😊

CeBit has come and gone, and no X... I'm disapointed. I'm now being tempted by the evil phone-inna-pda jobbies. Hey ho. Maybe I'll resist and get a 6600. Its been a while since I had a nokia.

Screen is clear and keyboard is small but comfortable, but i'm a not "SMS record typer" 😊

Here's is my small review posted at my-symbian:

Well ok, i tell you my first impressions from cebit: I played with the X for about 2 hours:

- Software used: Version x3.338 Development (unstable)
Errors and crashes with flash reader & included Pinball game

- videorecorder and camera is slow (needed 5-15 secs to start) - quality was not that good, but could be due to lightningh at the Sendo place

- java engine slow (tested with siberian strike epsiode I)

- Mophun Enginge 2.9 was licensed by Sendo and will be inlcuded! Tested with 3D Rally Contest, worked well
control with the X is hard for gaming, there is no joystick and you
have to get used to this kind of control!!
- MP3 Quality was good BUT NO MP3 ringtones though,
it has two speakers (left and right side) with quite good sound, although the X place was heavily crowded with people and SOUND (Motorolas place was near with a good DJ ...)

All in all the X was mere a protoype than a release version with many bugs (although the software was dated 12.03.04). the handling was nice, BUT IT IS VERY THICK (as the N6600)

The covers of the shown X have been badly produced (they told me they have been hand made), this was NO end user fnish ... although end user hardware has been produced by Sendo!!!

Strange, i would not show somebody a hand made prototype, if i could shown him a end user verion ...

The x will be released "after the cebit and in a few weeks", I DOUBT that it will be released within march 2004, cause the software is more unstable than i stated above

If i didn't already preorder it, i would wait untill the final version will be available to all

- we'll have to see, when and what the X will be ....

Well they appear to have made no progress at all since December when I was in Sendo for an interview 😞.

I'm afraid that, like many people, my money is going elsewhere. I'm sure that eventually they can produce a good phone but I just don't trust them to do it within the next year....

Glad I never took the job, I'd have been stuck with a piece of shite phone like the X if I had 😃

No mate, though it was in NPI (new product introduction)!!! 😃 The boss apparantly has a habit of recruiting his mates instead of decent engineers which was why I missed out.... I'd have been able to get it into production on time 😃😃😃

Sorry for taking out this goddamn old thread... but i just bought a Sendo-X from ebay....-my old one was "fallen" against the wall... and since nobody knows sendo-x it was pretty cheap (34&#8364😉

so my problem:
The Phone is an "Motorola ESG" Engineering Sample (looks nearly new!) with firmware x3.338 (imei ends with 00000171 - so it seems to be one of the first ever produced :P) and i dont know how to update it...
the *-key at phonestart does not work for booting the phone into firmwareupdate-mode.

is there another way to get the phone to the update screen?

I read about a MMC/SD-Firmwareupdate some years ago but i never found one on the internet...
product number is: 8Y0H - 02170 - 2X000

the x3.338 is verrrrry unstable ... when i have pages open in the NOW!-screen, the menu crashes... so it is unusable.

my last hope is dragon-tmd *g*
he seems to know everything about this phone!
