I have just joined the Nokia 6600 clan and have read on various messages on the forum that people have caused problems by deleting a program, instead of uninstalling it!
How do i uninstall programs or is it dependent on the specific programs if it needs to be uninstalled as opposed to just deleting?
Also when I connected to o2 active it installed some o2active menu system which means that i need to press the menu button twice to get into the original menu!
Can i get rid of this?
Thanks for any help!

To uninstall/remove programs/applications you have installed, launch "Manager" (a.k.a. "App. Manager" or "Application Manager"😉, scroll down to the app you want to remove, hit "Options" and then select "Remove" from the menu. Note that you can't remove a built-in application & you may not be able to remove an app that's currently active/running.
If you want to uninstall/remove themes, use the "Themes" app. Note that you can't remove a built-in theme or a theme that's currently active (applied).
I don't think it is a theme, it is another menu which seems to take priority over the original menu!
I will post a screenshot if i can!

I didn't say that the O2 thing was a theme. Did you somehow skip the first paragraph in my reply?

I take it your being sarcastic Technik 😃 . You can indeed remove that annoying O2 menu. Its a good idea but not very well designed. To remove it go to the app manager as explained above but make sure you exit out of the menu first. 😊
