i been trying for a while to get my laptop and my desktop to recognize my N gage MMc card using the Cable but my luck is just not there. So i went out today and bought a MMC Card reader writer for my computer. it reads it and i can put programs and everything in there. I put a few songs so i can try them out. They worked but not clear. there is a little strange noice coming out of all of them. I then tried to sent them as my ringer but they just wont play.
What can be wrong with the phone?
is there something else i need for it to work?
Help me please!
Thank you
theoretically you only need to put the mp3 files in the MMC and run the music app. try different headsets, as maybe is the headset itself what distorts the sound.

and the only way to put things on the MMC is by an MMC reader/writer, or having XP and having the phone detected as an storing device (maybe that's not the name, i've got my windows in spanish and the approximate translation would be this). Nokia PC suite doesn't detect the phone. incompatibility between software and hardware, that's what they told me. And I payed 300 euros. Bravo.
hey dude I had the same problem with my phone's mp3..the part where I can play them but they all sounded weird! just like a backmasked tape or something. before, the sound worked fine but after calling someone while playing my mp3s (of course, it automatically paused)and that's where the problem started!! can the sounds be affected in any way if the titles I input were compressed with an audiograbber and stored in the MMC? heck, out of desperation I even installed an mp3go to my ngage! AND THE TRACKS SOUNDED FINE?!! what's up with my unit?!
thanks

mp3player sound noise coz...itself dont have equalizer...u gota search for it ya..
better use ULTRAMP3....much strong and better sound...coz mostly mp3(phone) had reduce resolution from normal 96 bts to 8 bts...that make noises...
