hallo' i hav a problem w/ my mem card, i cannot format it on my ngage cause i cant go to the grid option menu, it displays system error. but when i start my fon w/out the mmc crd it opens fine. is there any kind of shortcuts like the *#7370# to format the mem card??? tnx... it will be a lot of help.

Format it in a card reader.BTW: Have you installed WildSkinz or maybe sLauncher and then deleted it without uninstalling it?
gud am/pm. yah i install the wildskinz, then my fon ask for a restart, then when the welcome note appear it display failed to load startup, then it won't open anymore. i dont hav a card reader is there any shortcuts like the *#7370# to format the mem card??? tnx for the reply.
Probably WildSkinz is your problem.I don't know if this will work.Install it again(in phone memory,without using the MMC),enable it,restart the phone,disable it,uninstall it and restart

There is no code to format the MMC.
ei' i try reinstalling the wildskinz like u said, i follwed ur instruction. but it still dont work, i still cant access the menu option... but tnx for the idea. im going to take it to my friend, i think he has a card reader. i think the wildskinz created this problem, cause when i install it & enable it, it ask for a restart then when my fon reach the N-GAGE welcome note it started to display "failed to load startup" then "app close" & thats it... it won't open, unless i remove the MMC Card. tnx for the replies
You can format the mmc whilst your phones connected to your pc cant ya? just make sure you format it in the correct format.
The problem is he can't start up the phone with the MMC inserted.
LOOK PEOPLE IV GOT THE ANSER....HERES WHAT U GUYS DO .TAKE UR MMC OUT UR PHONE.THEN SWITCH THE PHONE BACK ON.THEN GO TO TOOLS THEN U SEE MEMORY DONT CLICK IT YET .TAKE THE COVER OF THE BACK OV THE PHONE THEN PUT UR MMC IN SO THE CONNECTORS ARE IN PLACE.DO NOT TAKE THE BATTERY OF THEN CLICK ON MEMORY AND FORMAT IT .IT WORKS COS IV JUST DONE IT I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM .BINGOO LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS OK

are you sure you put the mmc into the slot without removng the battery ??? and please don't shout in the forums, lower case is better...

If you hav problem like that, just plugin your n-gage to computer with usb cable, and read your MMC from your computer

DO NOT!!! and I mean DO NOT!!! install WildSkins on the N-Gage, it was never coded for it.
You will get nothing but errors, followed by the only input you will be able to type is numbers and eventually WSOD! (white screen of death)
WSOD= This occurs when the internal user memory gets filled right up and the boot diagnostics has not got anywhere to write to during boot.
Read the newbies news item on how to avoid WSOD on my NGH home page http://www.n-gage-help.com (btw sorry admins for linking another site but this information is important.)
btw WSOD can only be fixed using a Flasher, there currently is no other way to reset the user memory if the phone cannot boot.
Remember wildskins will kill your n-gage!!!! This is a fact. Hence why Wildpalm do not promote it for that phone.
What's up people? Yea I'm a newbie in here. I just got my N-Gage QD phone last week. It's a hot phone. I bought a 128 MB Super Talent Flash, Inc. MMC Card and a 20-in-1 Card reader. I wanted to get some NES, SNES & other emulators, MP3's, everything for my phone. I got to transfer files to my phone the 1st time I tried. I had to install (blzinstapp.sis) to run the games. After I tried the 2 games I put in the phone, I put the card back in the reader and deleted the files. I put some games on the MMC for the 2nd time through the reader and now my phone said Memory card corrupted. Now, I deleted the data from the card via the card reader. When I tried to put some games on my MMC the 3rd time, my pc stated the card needed to be formatted. So, I formatted the card via the card reader. Then, the pc stated to use ScanDisk to check for errors. So, I did. Now, when I put the MMC card in my phone, my N-Gage QD completely freezes. When I take the card out, it works like normal. I tried actual N-Gage games I bought in the store and they work perfect. I don't know what to do. I really wanna get these emulators to work on my phone. How can I get my N-Gage QD not to freeze when I stick in the MMC Card.... Any help? Thanks people
