Call Divert problem...

last week i diverted all my calls on my n-gage to another phone by using the option "All Voice Calls" and i shut down my n-gage. after thaat i restarted it and deactivated call divert. but after that t?me when i restart my phone the call divert icon is enabled automatically and after i check the status of the call divert the icon dissappears and it says no active call diverts. why it can be? 😕

u made sure u clicked the cancel all diverts and not just the all voice calls divert. It seems to make a difference with mine

I have experienced this as well. The divert function is on the mobile operator network, not the n-gage. Seems like the n-gage is not being properly updated from the network, after it has been switched off... software bug?... any further thoughts?...

i tried all cancel options in call divert menu...

Guest-tseuG >> the thing is the phone is not diverted at that moment only the icon is there. But when i say cancel or check status it disappears...

... the divert is not active on the n/w, but the phone does not realise that (maybe because it was switched off), until the n/w polls the phone when the cancel/check status is pressed. It then realises the divert is no longer active and updates itself accordingly. I am not sure why is it doing this...

but the interesting thing is, i just diverted once. but this happens everytime i restart my phone.
i think a flag which tells the o/s the phone is diverted show diverted icon in the code is somehow set everytime o/s restarts. or after i diverted my phone and canceled divert it doesn't change this flag to disable in the startup configuration file or stg in the o/s...

Firmware upgrade? Might be worth enlisting the help or advice of a Nokia Service Centre...
