Every time I do it I have to go through my Outlook contacts and swap
all the first and last names around. is there any other sync program
that wont mess it all about.
It even adds a . to the other phone numbers/faxs so they show in
contacts but empty.

is there anything like the program that comes with the 6100 that
allows you to use SMS and stuff from the computer as well ?
or am I stuck with this rubbish I got with the 7650 phone ?
Outlook & PC Suite never swapped names around like that when I used my 7650 actively (currently I use a 6600).
Check, in Outlook, what your Contact Options are. I have the following settings:
Default "Full Name" order: First (Middle) Last
Default "File As" order: Last, First
Check for duplicate contacts: Checked
If it isn't enough, in PC Suite, remove the contact synchronization task and recreate it and resync.

All my contacts are first name first, the 7650 swaps them around and adds extea parts to the outlook contacts that are empty.
I dont want my contacts soirted by surname
